Ladybug-Trail
On the way we have to find the seven children of the bug family who have hidden in different places.
The Ladybug-Trail begins right at the top station of the cable car Illgau – St.Karl. The first challenge begins at the mountain station, a great climbing wall that can be conquered by young and old.
A few steps further you come to the forest playground St. Karl, which offers everything a child’s heart desires: Here you can linger, because the children will feel comfortable. A racing track with dancing cones, a cable car, a big construction crane, a catwalk, the witch Lolita with her house and the witch path, as well as a witch kitchen and much more is waiting for you.
It is a real paradise for cheerful children’s laughter. For the physical well-being there are two grill places and drinking water places available. Picnic tables complete the offer and there is enough firewood. Equipped with Ladybug-Trail cards, are on display at the valley and mountain station, go on the way to find the seven children of the bug family, who have hidden in different places. Just follow the painted beetles on the ground.
On the hiking trail between the house and the stable of the Steinweid property you will come to the next attraction, a carillon. Test your musical talent and try to play a song on the different bells! The path continues via green mats to the second large Balmli adventure and barbecue area. There are also various attractions such as swings, hanging ropes or a rope bridge leading up to Adlerhorst. Below the playground, historically interested visitors can see the excavation site of an old medieval settlement.
After a short descent, you will return to the starting point of the cable car valley station in the village of Illgau. Have you now found all 7 ladybugs? At the end of the path is the lovingly furnished cheese store. The Bürgler family puts a lot of heart and soul into the store – you can also find various products made by local women who create their works of art with a great deal of passion and creativity.
