Public Hölloch short tour
With over 200 kilometers of known length, the Hölloch is considered one of the largest cave systems in the world. It is hard to escape the fascination of the cave.
The elemental force with which nature created the rock formations in the Hölloch over the course of a million years is immense. On a guided tour you can experience a world underground that you have never seen before.
If you don’t want to venture on the big cave tour right away, then the approx. 2-hour Hölloch short tour is just the right thing for you. Here you can comfortably walk the first 700m of the cave, which was developed 100 years ago with paths and stairs. You will learn a lot of interesting facts about the history of the Hölloch and about speleology. You will get a first impression of one of the largest cave systems in the world.
The trained cave guide will be able to tell you a lot about the formation of the cave, the rocks or about the animals living in the cave. Experience the acoustics in the cave and what it’s like to have all the lights turned off…
