Skisafari
An unforgettable experience!
A ski safari of around three hours from Illgau via Handgruobi to Hoch-Ybrig.
The crowning glory is the endless descent through forests and alpine areas.
The round trip leads from Illgau via cable car to St. Karl, further to Handgruobi, then with 2 lifts to Brünnelistock with a subsequent five kilometer long downhill run to Oberiberg. From there, three different lifts with prepared downhill runs lead to the Spirstock. As a highlight, you can enjoy the six-kilometer-long downhill run, with a fantastic panorama, to Illgau. You can start the tour at one of the locations of your choice, also you can get the tickets either in Illgau, Handgruobi or Oberiberg.
The piste is continuously groomed when snow conditions are good. If there is not enough snow to drive the snow groomer to the village of Illgau, the slope is still passable for good skiers.
The entire ski safari can be completed in about 3 hours.
In total, the ski safari includes about 14 kilometers of downhill skiing and offers 1450 meters of altitude difference. On the route are several restaurants directly along the slope and invite you to linger.
