Alpine restaurant Pragelpasshöhe
The Alpine restaurant Pragelpasshöhe is an ideal starting point for magnificent mountain hikes in the Muotatal Karst area. It offers a small menu with many of its own products.
The newly constructed restaurant has 60 indoor and 70 outdoor seats and an adventurous playground for small guests. Here you will eat home-made dishes: “Älplermagronä” with own Alpine cheese and own cream, “Zabigplättli” (evening platter) with own Alpine cheese, home-made meringues with cream as well as various other mouth-watering delicacies. The Alpine establishment owns 28 cows, with milk made into Alpine cheese, Mutschli and butter by the Gwerder family. The Alpine restaurant is a family-run business and has been owned by the Gwerder family since 1916, now in the 5th generation.
