The Stoos-Muota Valley region has a strong affinity for weather due to the extreme weather conditions that occur – whether foehn storms on the Lake of Uri, cold records on the Glattalp, rainy days in the Bödmeren primeval forest or hours of sunshine on the Stoos and the Illgau sun terrace. Only a few kilometers away from each other, the Stoos-Muota Valley region hosts the most diverse weather extremes.
