Alp Metzg
The Alp Metzg is located along the hiking trail from the mountain village of Stoos to the Klingenstock at an elevation of 1,540 meters. It is open only in the summer and can be reached on foot from Stoos in about an hour. Visitors are expected to serve themselves.
This beautiful spot is idyllically situated on a plateau at the edge of the forest. The Langenegger family provides a grill and several picnic areas for hikers and families. A snack stand offers yogurt, cheese, drinks, ice cream, and other specialties. Younger visitors can enjoy the pinecone slide, the trampoline, the slide, the sandbox, and the natural surroundings.
