The new mountain railway on Stoos is the steepest funicular railway in the world with a gradient of up to 110 %. Since 17 December 2017, this technical masterpiece has brought you comfortably, quickly and barrier-free to the village of Stoos at 1300 metres above sea level.
The mountain station can be visited the whole year. On the guided tour you will learn a lot of interesting facts about the century project. We provide you with a close-up look behind the scenes and thus into the processes, construction, technology and operation of these unique mountain railway innovation.
