Via ferrata Husky-Lodge
Climb on the short but exciting via ferrata directly next to the Hotel Husky-Lodge at Muotathal.
- 100 meters high
- 400 meter steel cable
- 5 metre high ladder
- 200 kicks & hangers
First you climb steeply up a beautiful rocky ledge and then you reach the key point in easy terrain. Beginners can easily and safely leave the rock path here.
The path continues over a 20-metre high, vertical rock face up to the ladder. At the top you can take a short break on «Buny’s Querbändli» with a beautiful view of Muotathal and Hochflue.
Now you follow the steel cable over the ramp to the campsite and over another steep step from the fireplace to the honeycomb nest.
Next destination is Chänzeli, which can be reached with more iron bars.
Arrived at Chänzeli the wall book is waiting for your personal entry.
Now, just before you get off, enjoy the well-earned view over idyllic Muotathal on the bench in the fresh air.
Secured on the steel rope you climb the last meters to the exit and from there you follow a hiking trail through the forest back to the Husky-Lodge.
