Arrival journey to the funicular railway in Schwyz

Coming from Basel-Lucerne:
Drive onto the A14 next to Lucerne in the direction of Zug. At the motorway junction Rütihof you will drive on the A4 motorway in the direction of Schwyz. Take the motorway exit Schwyz and follow the signposts in the direction of Stoos/Muotathal. The valley station of the Stoos railway is located directly next to the main road.

Coming from the Bodensee and Rapperswil:
Drive in the direction Gotthard/Schwyz from Rapperswil. A short part next to Pfäffikon takes you on the A3 motorway in the direction of Gotthard. Take the first exit towards Gotthard/Schwyz. The main road takes you over Rothenthurm and Sattel to Schwyz. After reaching Schwyz continue driving in the direction of Muotathal. The valley station of the Stoos railway is located directly next to the main road.

Coming from Gotthard-Altdorf:
At Flüelen take the bypass road (tunnel) in the direction of Schwyz. After the Mositunnel you will leave the motorway at exit 40 Brunnen (direction Weggis/Gersau/Schwyz/Brunnen). Drive in the direction of Ibach/Schwyz and take the first exit at the second roundabout in Ibach (next to Dany's family restaurant) in the direction of Muotathal. The valley station of the Stoos railway is located directly next to the main road.
