Respectful behaviour in the alpine area
We ask you to behave respectfully in the alpine areas.
In recent years, the alpine areas of Canton Schwyz have benefited from strongly growing tourist numbers. This enables the alpine farmers to sell their products better, for example. However, more guests also mean more conflicts: rubbish, trampled pastures, wrong behaviour towards the cattle, etc. lead to trouble. Alps on the Rigi, the Stoos or in the Mythen area are already feeling the effects strongly.
We ask you to observe the following rules when you are in the alpine area:
- Please stay on the marked paths
- Please close the fence gates and ride through carefully with bikes
- Please keep dogs on a leash and dispose of faeces correctly.
- Please do not allow dogs to bathe in pasture troughs
- Please only use official fireplaces, extinguish fireplaces properly and be sparing with firewood
- Please take litter with you
