Regional highlight: 27th Muotathal Alpine Cheese Market

The Muotathal Alpine Cheese Market is being held for the 27th time. This year, visitors can expect a large exhibition of cattle bells during the 2 market days, in addition to the approx. 40 exhibitors of alpine cheese and other agricultural products.

On Saturday evening there will be an entertainment programme with “dMädels” and the sounds of the Alphorn and Büchel. The Echo vom Riedberg and the Echo vom Druäsberg will play for dancing.

In addition to alpine cheese, goat’s and sheep’s cheese as well as other cheese specialities will be on offer for tasting and purchase.

A large tombola with instant prizes worth over CHF 20,000 also awaits the guests! There will be several food and beverage stands and barbecue stalls. Early risers can enjoy the culinary side of Muotathal at a brunch on Sunday morning.
