Waldi Ranch Alpine Farm
High above the Bisisthal valley at 1,409 meters, right on the shores of Lake Waldi, the cozy Waldi-Ranch alpine inn offers hearty meals and homemade products. In the outdoor dining area, you can enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings, the gentle murmur of the Muota River, and the view of the mountains.
The menu offers guests homemade bread, fresh trout from Lake Waldis, and delicious Alpine-style meals.
Starting in September, venison and chamois dishes from the ranch’s own hunt are served. The homemade gingerbread with whipped cream, the Waldi Ranch coffee served in a Chacheli, and—on weekends—the homemade Black Forest cake are all worth indulging in. While the adults savor the Alpine specialties, the children have fun on the small playground.
If you’d like to stay here a little longer, you can stay in a double room with a shower and toilet or book a spot in the adventurous dormitory.
