Alpine Hiking Course
Recognize key points on geographic maps and master them safely in the field. In this course, they will learn to plan tours using a map, altimeter, and compass, as well as how to safely walk/skirt around difficult spots.
Fitness:
Up to 6 hours and max. 1,500 meters of altitude per day
Requirement:
Up to T5 according to SAC scale. The alpine hikes are often pathless, with a few easy climbs. In certain places you need your hands to move forward. It requires good surefootedness with already exposed terrain.
Insurance:
Adequate accident insurance is the responsibility of the participant(s).
Equipment:
You will receive the equipment list with the confirmation.
