MIGROS HIKING SOUNDS

Do you enjoy hiking through the Swiss Alps and love the goosebump feeling of live music? Both await you at Migros Hiking Sounds 2024!

The Migros Hiking Sounds will be back on Stoos on the weekend of June 29/30, 2024.

START VILLAGE
The Start Village is located at the valley station of the Schwyz – Stoos funicular. You will receive your goodie bag for the hike there.
To check in at the Village, please note the start time on your ticket.
Slot 1: 9 am – 10 am
Slot 2: 10 am – 11 am
If no start time is shown on your ticket, your ticket is valid for both start times.

MIGROS HIKING SOUNDS TICKET
You can buy the event ticket at migroshikingsounds.ch/stoos.

MOUNTAIN RAILROAD TICKET
To get to Stoos and the start of the hike, the first stage from Schwyz to the mountain village of Stoos is covered by funicular. The hike also includes a section with the Klingenstock chairlift. You will need a valid mountain railway ticket for this (the railroad ticket is not included in the Migros Hiking Sounds Ticket). Book your mountain railway ticket at a special price at www.stoos.ch/mhs. Using the QR code on the booking confirmation, you can collect your ticket from the pick-up box at the funicular valley station. This way you avoid long queues and benefit from the special price.

HIKING
Important: This year there is a new hiking route on the Stoos. Please note that this is a moderately difficult hike. A good basic level of fitness, sure-footedness and good footwear are required. The hike leads along mostly easy paths.
The hiking route starts at the top station of the funicular. From there you hike for about an hour (2km / 230m uphill) to Alp Metzg, where the Talent Stage awaits you and you have earned a break.
This is followed by the second part of the hike towards Klingenstock. It takes about an hour and 20 minutes to reach the summit (1.85 km / 340 m uphill). At 1,900 meters above sea level, you can enjoy the magnificent 360° view from the summit. This is followed by a well-earned and leisurely descent on the Klingenstock chairlift (approx. 15 minutes). From the valley station, it’s a 15-minute walk (820 m / 40 m downhill) back to the mountain village. The Hiking Sounds Stage is located right next to the top station of the funicular, where you can now enjoy the full concert experience.
Take it easy! Hike up the mountain at your own pace and enjoy the panorama. Take a break and drink enough.

TALENT STAGE
From 10.30 am, up-and-coming Swiss talent will show off their skills on the Talent Stage and Swiss meat will ensure that your hunger is satisfied.

HIKING SOUNDS STAGE
From 3 pm, the artists play their hits on the Hiking Sounds Stage.

AFTER THE CONCERTS
Thanks to the public transport connections, Stoos is easily accessible by public transport and can be reached until late in the evening (connections to Zug, Lucerne or Zurich until 22:40 and to Schwyz until 23:40). So you can end your festival day on Stoos after the concerts without any worries.
