SUNRISE RIDES FRONALPSTOCK

Experience the mystical morning atmosphere on the summit Fronalpstock every Friday in August and September.

The funicular takes you up to Stoos, then the chairlifts take the early risers up to Fronalpstock. In the summit restaurant a large breakfast buffet awaits all those who have booked the “Zmorge”. A coffee with a view promises a special start to the day. Afterwards, the chairlifts take you back down to Stoos.

The sunrise rides are not only a spectacle for the eye: As an alternative to the descent with the chairlifts, it is also recommended to take a hike down into the valley and be practically alone on the unpopulated hiking trail. Unique!

Sequence of sunrise trips in September:

5.40 a.m.
Departure funicular Schwyz-Stoos (one-time ride)

5.50 a.m.
Walk from the top station of the funicular to the bottom station of the chairlift Fronalpstock

6 a.m.
Ride with chairlifts Fronalpstock to the summit

between 6.11 – 6.44 a.m.
Civil sunrise

between 6.45 – 7.22 a.m.
