Alp Waldi
Alp Waldi is located at the very end of Bisisthal by Lake Waldi, surrounded by a magnificent mountain panorama.
At the far end of the idyllic Bisisthal valley, you will find the Waldi alpine cheese dairy with its cosy little alpine restaurant – a popular destination for hikers, nature lovers and food enthusiasts. At 1,446 metres above sea level, opposite Glattalp, you can enjoy not only fresh mountain air and the sound of cowbells, but also an impressive view.
Take a break and enjoy refreshing drinks as well as simple delicacies – above all the flavourful Waldi alpine cheese, produced directly on site. The milk comes from around 20 cows and is carefully processed using traditional craftsmanship and a great deal of passion into full-flavoured alpine cheese, alpine butter and other specialities – honest, regional and natural.
Opening hours
The alpine restaurant is open daily from early June until around mid-September, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
